My name is Richard Nootenboom Jr., owner and founder of Mountain Development and Construction. Being a Big Bear resident my whole life and now business owner in the community, I take pride in building a better community. I know what the necessities are when it comes to living in our unique mountain environment. As the head contractor of Mountain Development and Construction, I complete and oversee all of my projects to make sure they are all of the highest quality. All the people I work with are long time friends who have as much experience as I do and share the same goals of doing the best work possible.

Along with being a licensed general contractor, I am also certified for building garages. A while back I realized this would be an important addition to my credentials. It really has been great being able to offer this to clients, as we all know nothing is better than having our cars or toys in a protected garage during the winter months.

I am also experienced in home additions and renovations. I recently finished a garage and room addition to a home in the Fawnskin community. When it comes to additions I always take time to make sure everything will be seamless. The key to making a new addition look great is making it look like it was always there.
